Carrot "Amsterdam 2" (on tape).
Early variety: matures within 80 days from germination. Not for long-term storage.
Root vegetables are 14-17 cm long and weigh 50-70 g.
Sowing: in late April - early May in well-moistened, loose, fertile soil with a deep topsoil layer at a depth of 1.5-2.0 cm according to the 5x20 cm scheme.
Care: double thinning, loosening between rows, infrequent watering, fertilizing with complex mineral fertilizers, treatment with insecticides against carrot fly.
Do not apply fresh organic fertilizers!
The carrier tape absorbs soil moisture well, so before placing the seed tape in the furrow, it is advisable to water it generously. The laid tape is covered with soil and watered again.
The amount of seeds evenly distributed on 4 meters of tape will be sufficient to obtain approximately 350 root vegetables with a total weight of 20-25 kg.
